We were delighted to be the recipients of an extremely generous fundraising initiative during this season’s 6 Nations. A limited edition of 100 7yo Whitlaw 63.5% abv Single Malts were bottled for Scottish Rugby Away Tours Forum (SRATF) with £10 of the sale of each bottle donated to Hearts + Balls. The whisky in question was distilled at Highland Park in Orkney and spent five years casked in bourbon, two years in Oloroso sherry and a further month in French Mourvèdre red wine (themed on this year’s Paris trip!). Massive thanks to Alasdair Muir, Iain Mundy, Iain Crichton, Fib Whisky and all at SRATF.
Hugh Dan MacLennan (Chair) said: “The Hearts and Balls Charitable Trust continues to be impressed and delighted by the various innovative ways the rugby community is able to help us help our own. This latest addition to our portfolio of supporters is most welcome and we appreciate the lengths to which everyone has gone to achieve such a worthwhile outcome.
“Many thanks to everyone involved and we look forward to working together again in the future.”
